Welcome back!

There is great beauty in the reflection of the lake above.  There is great beauty in a mirror.  But when you look at and think about great beauty, a “reflection” just doesn’t get the job done - you have to go look at the real thing. You have to lift your line of site above the lake pictured.  And when you’re looking in a mirror, you have to realize that the beauty you are seeing is being reflected - it’s being reflected from the individual standing in front of the mirror.

But wait!  Let’s go a bit deeper into that idea.  Is it the individual’s body, her clothing, her jewelry, her hair style, her makeup that is being reflected?  NO!  That’s all a reflection, too.

What’s it reflecting?  It’s reflecting the inside of that individual.  It is reflecting:

• the thoughts she thinks about herself and her body
• the level of consideration she thinks she deserves
• the degree of intelligence she thinks she has
• the beauty she knows her innermost self reflects
• the level of goodness she is convinced she IS

You are so much more that the reflection seen in that mirror.  You are the fullness of mentality.  You are the allness of good.  You are each truth you have discovered on your path here on earth.  You are a vast quantity of good things.  You are an intense compendium of all that is virtuous.  You are the keenest of faculties.  You are the epitome of enjoyment. Without you and all that you are, without all the potential you will yet manifest, there would be incompleteness.

So don’t be satisfied when what you see in a mirror looks “okay” or “so so.”  And don’t be satisfied when what you see in a mirror looks top notch.  Only be satisfied when you can go within yourself and say “I am truly satisfied with all that I am” because I alone am fulfilling all of my desires, all of my hopes, all of my dreams, and THAT, is great beauty.
