What is Failure?

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably experienced a sense of failure over dieting. I think there’s a different approach you might enjoy and I call it mental dieting.
Pick a diet, any diet. The requisite for the diet you pick is this: you must be able to think “I am losing weight” while using the diet as a prop. The diet is only a prop. The thinking is the main thing. You’ve got to get yourself to a position where no matter what you put in your mouth, you will still be able to think “I am losing weight.”
If I have a three-tiered slab of chocolate cake in my plate loaded with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream, can I eat this and simultaneously think “I am losing weight?” I cannot. If you can, you’re a better man than I am, Gunga Din.
Going within and asking myself this kind of question really helps me in my mental efforts to keep on track with a weight-loss project. Hope it helps you. This is the kind f help you’ll find when The World of Within goes live. I hope to see you there.
