Already worrying about weight gain over the Holidays?
Monday, December 8th, 2008Welcome back!
I wish I could put a cold compress on your brow and explain why, if you understood what I wrote in my book, you could go through the holidays without sweating weight gain ever again. Here’s an excerpt that might help you some, but trust me, it’s just a nibble. You need to follow the thought through all the way from the beginning to the end of the book.
Can I prove to you that we live in a mental universe? No, I cannot. I can only prove it to me. I can encourage you to get busy and discover this for yourself, but only you can prove it to you. If you simply accept what I’ve said to you, you are only believing, and what you really want is understanding.
I am inviting you to understand this is the truth and I am encouraging you to begin your considering. In your bed at night, ask yourself to prove that it’s a mental universe. That’s how I did it. If you truly want answers to your questions, they will unfold to you from within your wonderful self. Keep asking each night, and every time you ask, your mind will provide one more detail of truth until the whole picture unfolds from within you.
I find that when you move over to the realm of the invisible universe, your experience will change magically because you’ll view life from a “what am I supposed to learn from this” viewpoint, and you’ll develop eagerness for the lessons. You cherish these experiences because you can understand precisely what you are unfolding, what character you are building, what specific good you are recognizing about your own good self.
You see, in a mental universe, where your thinking causes your experiences, if you refuse to permit yourself to think that you are gaining weight over the holidays, you won’t gain weight. That might sound simplistic. I heartily encourage you to read the book. It will transform the way you think about your Self.
