The Word is Getting Out About Mental Weight Loss

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

Welcome back!

I know there are a lot of people out there who are skeptical about mental weight loss.  We have huge industries that are based on you not losing weight, of maintaining the fat status quo, of continuing the methods currently in place (that have been proven not to work) due to the fear of changing.

My son Thad (aren’t they both just hunks?) shared a post with me at one of his favorite Blogs.  I am referencing that Blog, saluting that author (his name is Bobbylove321), and sharing it with you. I wasn’t able to find a website for him, or I’d have listed that as a credit.  The URL where it came from is here.

You can Control your Weight with your Mind:

I’m tired of hearing people are obese and underweight because they

don’t eat healthy or workout right.

The people who actually go to the gym end up not being satisfied all

the time because they feel that they are not ‘perfect’ yet, so they go

and buy products.

The products are ALL placebo effects that don’t work 100% but the

people on it get excited and adopt a POSITIVE mindset since they think

they will get the body that they want.

They get bigger or slimmer depending on what their goal was, but they

think it was the product that did it to them, so they go and buy more

health products.

Their mind is thinking it’s the products that gets them in a good

shape when in reality it’s their OWN mind.

All my friends workout and they use to think I was too skinny, and

that I needed to workout.

I was too lazy, and always looked at myself in the mirror before night

and sometimes during the day admiring myself. It sounds weird, but it

really isn’t.

I give a full 15 minutes everyday to myself where I TRULY admire

myself and compliment myself as if it was a third person saying it. I

TRULY BELIEVE IT.

So I do that everyday, and now I have an eight pack, put on 15 pounds

of muscle, got bigger biceps, and have healed my weak knees. All this

within 6 weeks. No one seems to know how I got here without working

out. They accuse me of working out behind their backs.

One of my other good friends couldn’t make it to the gym everyday, so

he started doing what I was doing on the days that he wasn’t working

out.

Now he has a bigger frame structure, bigger shoulders, and bigger

chest. All the people that see him say, “You look jacked” right to his

face and it makes him happy.

I’ve done and it and so have other people I know. You control your

mind, and your mind can control your goals via negative and positive

mindsets.

Now use your mind and control your weight with it.

This is a super ability we all have. It’s just suppressed in society

via subliminal advertisements that we see, hear, and believe.

Also, don’t you think it’s pretty obvious in society?

The health companies make the “newest” or “strongest” products that

will get your ripped, in shape, etc. but they leave the MAIN thing

out. They don’t tell you that working out is 1% of it. Your mind and

belief in achieving your goals is the 99% that really matters.

Love you,

Pat

Seeing Support in “The All”

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

Hello, y’all.  Just a quickie note today.

I’m continuing to revel in the mental work that I’m doing to manifest a new, smaller body this year.  I found myself driving off the mountain yesterday and allowing my mind to peruse what surrounded me as we drove.

It was an interesting experience to watch the wind blowing the pine trees and I thought “I am spirit itself.  Wind is spirit itself. My mind thinking is making those needles blow in the wind because Life it mental, and I’m so grateful to see that.”

I saw the berms of snow melting and they were big berms and I thought “Well, we can just see the snow berms symbolizing our own big berms now can’t we. Yes, we thought our own berms were very big, and sure enough, now we have really big snow berms.  And the good news is: They are melting!  The snow berms and our big berms are both melting. Phenomenal news!”

And I became aware of my new car. Did you know I bought a brand new Chevy Trailblazer SS?  It’s a gorgeous, powerful mother - - - kinda like ME!  I am one gorgeous, powerful Mother, and when my mind thinks something, just like accelerating in my Trailblazer, I get some powerful action!

See how the whole world is conspiring to support me toward success in this project?  You too!  Just begin, persevere, come here for support and we’ll both win this obesity game together. Slow yourself down on a day when you are not distracted and simply observe all the symbolism surrounding you in your life.  Honey, the whole world is lining up to help you (and me.)

I have a dream that the 60% of American (um, that’d be a majority, folks) will eventually find out about The World of Within, and because our intrinisic nature is goodness itself, we will become the paradigm shift America needs so much to return to greater integrity and character in our country.  Let’s not leave our new President out there alone.

Love,

Pat

More weight-loss via non-dieting - using mental methods alone

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re not dieting along with me and losing weight in 2009!

I am still on track with this project.  Meditating three times a day using my Mind Model.  I am very positive in my mental mood about my success.  I was thinking last night about those times that seem to happen (hey, I’m not immune from “down” times) and that I’d come back to my earlier postings to boost myself up.  :)

One of the things that I did not tell you is that I do not intend to weight more than once a month.  I got weighed last Sunday.  I’m benchmarked.  I’ll get weighed again on Feb. 1 and will let you know how I’m doing. I anticipate between 5 and 10 pounds loss this month.

I do my first mental work with my Mind Model in bed before I get up.  My girl kitty Chi loves it because it gives her more time to perch on my hip as she is wont to do.

I do my second set of mental work upstairs (my office and computer are downstairs) while I’m enjoying my first cup of coffee.

I do my third set of mental work upstairs before I watch TV (or sometime during commercials). I use my printed-out Mind Model to do this.

Before I fall asleep, I preview all the good that I have done that day regarding this project. It’s very very important to keep track of the good.  Progress is made through a series involving recognition and then gratitude, so recognition of the good is very important.

If you’re just joining us, you can read all the posts about this Project by looking at the categories. Choose the one named 2009 Project - Don’t Diet With Me and give this project a try.  It’s Free.  It’s Fun.  You’ve got my support and I’ve got yours.  Can you imagine what we’ll be able to do as an impact on the world as we accomplish this mental method weight loss?

Hugs,

Pat
