Welcome back!

Nancy & Shanna

Nancy & Shanna

We go back some 20 years, Nancy and me.  This weekend, she came to my home from Northern California along with her hubby, and the first thing out of her mouth was “Have you been losing weight?”  See why I love the girl?

I don’t know if I’ve lost weight.  I no longer weigh myself.  I’ve packed both scales up in the back nether regions under the bathroom sinks and I’m only using a tape measure to check my progress.  Yes, I’ve seen progress and I’m continuing to work mentally to re-form the shape of my body.

I understand that the very thoughts and conclusions inside my mentality are what show up as my body, so I’ve disciplined my mind to think only the thoughts that I want to show up.  Like:

  • The specific size of my hips is xxx inches (you don’t need to know!~)
  • When I hold my arm up in the air, mentally massage all excess down to the pit, and then mentally disappear it, I have an arm without wings.
  • I expect 2 inches to disappear off my stomach

You may think it’s woo woo, but I am the keeper of the tape measure, and it’s not baloney!

Are you looking for some inspiration to get going on this change me mentally project for your New Year’s Resolution? You’ll get a lot of help by reading My Cats Have Seen Me Naked. I’d love to autograph one just for you. It’s cool, because you don’t have to wonder if it’ll fit.  Trust me.  It’ll fit.

Love you,

Pat

Must You See It Before You Can Love Your Weight Loss?

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

I got to see my new grandson again this weekend and hold his wee, beautiful self.  He is a beautiful little boy and he appears to be nicely refined.  I believe all those months of his mommy and daddy talking to him in vitro and playing him music created that refinement.  And just imagine:  they did all this before they even saw him.

I got to thinking about doubting Thomas in the bible who had to see something before he would believe it. I can only imagine what he might have created (as my son Thad and his girlfriend Amy did) had he trusted enough in the process to acknowledge the reality before the appearance of their son.

Mental weight loss is like that too.  You have to be absolutely convinced that the process does work long before the appearance of the weight loss takes place.  If you don’t, there won’t be an appearance.  Last November when I began this process of mentally losing weight solely, if I hadn’t been convinced that it was going to be effective, I would still be carrying around the 35 lbs. I’ve lost since then.

This is where the “Oh ye of little faith!” saying comes from.  You have to have the courage of your convictions, the expectation of the weight loss, and the love of your Self that will nurture and guide you until you achieve the absolute conviction that it will happen.  And then it does.  I am living proof.

Stay tuned.  I have lots more weight to lose and I’m planning to do it mentally as well.  It’s painless.  I eat well.  So far, I haven’t been exercising at all.  Part of that is I live in snow country and it’s hard to get out to walk.  But it’s springtime now and my feet are feeling itchy.

If you never begin, you’ll never build the trust in this system.  I’d recommend getting my book My Cats Have Seen Me Naked: How I Achieved Self Acceptance and Self Love While Obese and then getting started on your own mental project path.  It might well become the best investment you’ve ever made.

Love,

Pat

Special note to others in this market segment: if you’d like to market your business via a comment on my blog, I’d be okay with that.  We are, after all, about the same thing, eh?

6 Tips 4 Success 4 Mental Weight Loss

Friday, April 24th, 2009

thads-8footerYou will never know how grateful I am that you are out there reading my words.  You so help me to stay on track.  I am absolutely convinced that all of the progress I’ve made in mentally losing weight has happened due to several things, and you are one of them, so Thank You.

Here are all of my reasons for successful perseverance in losing weight mentally.  It’s absolutely empowering to know that I once did not know how to do this; tried hundreds of other solutions; finally unfolded enough confidence.  I am successful and I am still in the process of completing this task.

1. I’m absolutely convinced Life is a mental experience

2. I understand how weight loss is accomplished mentally

3. My audience keeps me motivated and on track

4. I’m a persevering fool

5. I refuse to die obese

6. I am 100% single-minded about this project

Now let me see.  Doh!  If you did those six, you could lose weight mentally too and give up on the dieting miasma. And it wouldn’t hurt if you were pleasant, agreeable and adaptable.

Have you noticed I haven’t been pushing my book or my teleclasses?  Wondering why?  It’s because I am working with an internet marketing coach and a substantial reformat is in the works.  Well, okay, that wouldn’t prevent you from buying the book and getting started on Never Dieting Again and learning to love yourself.  Nope, I wouldn’t say no to that!

Love,

Pat
