In my reading yesterday, I came across a rather interesting quotation from Albert Einstein.  He said “If I am right, the Germans will say I was a German and the French will say I was a Jew.  If I am wrong, the Germans will say I was a Jew and the French will say I was a German.”  This got me to thinking about my work here at the World of Within.

To take the stand I have taken which meant going against the diet and exercise boys, was quite courageous.  It was also accurate.  So I can say then “If I am wrong, the traditionalists will say I was one of those wacky metaphysicians and the metaphysicians will say that I really didn’t understand.  But if I am right (and I am) the metaphysicians will call me a great understander, and the traditionalists will still say I am wacky.”  They have to say I’m wacky, because if I am right (and I am) there goes the billion dollar diet and exercise industry.  You won’t need them and their pills, potions, wraps, sweat and tears. All you’d need is  your own sweet mind and I can tell you how to use it to have the life (and the body) you truly want.

More weight-loss via non-dieting - using mental methods alone

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re not dieting along with me and losing weight in 2009!

I am still on track with this project.  Meditating three times a day using my Mind Model.  I am very positive in my mental mood about my success.  I was thinking last night about those times that seem to happen (hey, I’m not immune from “down” times) and that I’d come back to my earlier postings to boost myself up.  :)

One of the things that I did not tell you is that I do not intend to weight more than once a month.  I got weighed last Sunday.  I’m benchmarked.  I’ll get weighed again on Feb. 1 and will let you know how I’m doing. I anticipate between 5 and 10 pounds loss this month.

I do my first mental work with my Mind Model in bed before I get up.  My girl kitty Chi loves it because it gives her more time to perch on my hip as she is wont to do.

I do my second set of mental work upstairs (my office and computer are downstairs) while I’m enjoying my first cup of coffee.

I do my third set of mental work upstairs before I watch TV (or sometime during commercials). I use my printed-out Mind Model to do this.

Before I fall asleep, I preview all the good that I have done that day regarding this project. It’s very very important to keep track of the good.  Progress is made through a series involving recognition and then gratitude, so recognition of the good is very important.

Don’t Diet or Exercise With Me in 2009 and lose weight together

I found this quotation on my customized Google Home Page and I thought the “take the action” part was well worth commenting about in view of what is transpiring on this blog in 2009.

I am about to prove to you how a non-dieting, non-exercising, purely mental program is 100% doable. I’m planning to re-shape my body, learn more about loving my Self, and more about accepting “what IS”. Yes, I do have some fears going into this, but I’ve trained my Self to do what I fear.

Most of my blog readers know that I published my book last year entitled “My Cats Have Seen Me Naked: How I Achieved Self-Love and Self-Acceptance While Obese.” What I didn’t tell you about was the enormous amount of courage it took for me to go out on that particular limb. It did.

I am completely aware of how different my approach is.  It goes in the face of all the traditional takes we’ve been brought to believe are TRUE, FACT, SCIENCE and therefore, IRREFUTABLE. Well, you can think of those traditional methods (diet, pills & exercise) as true, fact, science, and irrefutable.  But excuse me, have they worked for anyone out there PERMANENTLY????  Or do you just have to begin again?  Give them more money?  Eat some more pills?  Exercise your ass off?  You KNOW they don’t work.

I’m going out on a limb again. I’ve decided to use my Blog to keep my own toes to the fire in 2009 and practice what I preach by documenting my own mental process as I apply my own wisdom to the project of losing 60 pounds in 2009. If this is a project that might hold some appeal for some of you, you’re invited to join me. All you have to do is add a comment, and you’re with us.  Spread the word to all your disgruntled fat friends.  There is only weight to lose here - not more money.

My last blog posting for the project that I’m beginning personally on Monday, January 5th, was written last Saturday and is readable here. Don’t Diet with me in 2009(Or, the clever ones of you could just scroll down.  ;)  )I personally could use your love, support, and cheering me on and as always, I appreciate you spreading the word to friends.
