Persevere!

Welcome back!

wow-purpl-eye

Our desires demand persistance/perseverance.  I know of no other way to make our dreams come true.

I always like to put an interesting picture in my blog posts, so here’s one of the original artwork when I was developing the World of Within.

In a mental existance such as our own, the only way to manufacture our desires would be mentally, through the exercise of our thinking processes, and through repetition.  Repetition requires perseverance.  We repeat so that we can convince ourselves of the truth that’s intrinsic to our desires. At the precise moment we feel convinced, our desire appears automagically in our experience in one form or another.

Let me share an example story with you:  I have been working assiduously for more money in the last six months.  I have allowed the idea of “recession” to enter into my thinking as if it were some real thing, and badda bing, the sucker manifested!  So, I got busy and began to picture myself fully supplied: at first, what I’d manifest were pay-as-you-go project work in my Virtual Assistant business.  Then, I manifested a cash gift from a relative.  Then, I manifested $1000 commission for performing a service that was real-estate related.

Did I  have those specific pictures inside my mind?  No.  I pictured cash money!

The same principle works when you are trying to re-shape  your body.  If  you have a large body and you want a smaller one, get a good mind picture and think it, think it, think it. It will picture forth at the precise moment you feel convinced it can.

Hugs and love,

Pat

I Am Grateful for Long Drives #30 Days

Sunset San Bernardino

Sunset San Bernardino

Whenever I drive to Pahrump, NV, I get to spend hours and hours in my car, just thinking. It helps me to clarify my desires, and to focus my mental work to manifest those desires.

Last Thursday at 6 am, I left for Thanksgiving in Pahrump to visit my friend Bennie who is ailing. My sons were nice enough to release me from things family for this holiday.  I left at 6 am on Thanksgiving morning and the roads were so clear, it only took 3.5 hours.  This is my regular, non-holiday timing. On the way back, it took 5.5 hours for the same trip, although I left at 11 am.  So, as you can see, I spent a considerable number of hours in the car driving this past weekend.

I love long drives however.  I ask me to show me something I haven’t realized before for whatever mental project I’m currently working on.  Generally, what happens is that I proceed with my normal manner of thinking with the idea of “something new will be shown to me,” and sure enough, it happened again this weekend.

I realize that if you are willing to take only the step you see in front of you, by taking that one small step, the next step will be made clear.  But if you don’t take the first step, you, honey girl, are locked into place.  And if “what you think is what you get” and you continue to think the same old thing, it would be impossible for you to get something different.

And this is why I’m grateful for long drives:  I begin to think; I’m shown the next good thing - the next tweak for more good; and I begin to think that new good thing so that my results are bettered. Who could ask for a better life?

Love,

Pat
