The reality of self-healing or spiritual healing is that it doesn’t happen instantaneously like a television show with an introduction, a meaty middle and a successful (always successful, eh?) denouement. I think it is sad that our consumerism has made us into a nation of - as Ferukha Salt said in Willy Wonka -
“I want it NOW, Daddy!”
Well, all you little Feruka’s out there , much as it looks like so much has become fairly instantaneous, weight loss through spiritual means isn’t quite in that category yet. At The World of Within, my strongest effort is to teach you the basics of living a successful life. Now you, like me, were dealt one HUGE lemon - obesity. I can promise you this: I turned mine into lemonade and I know how to help you do that too. But you can’t have it immediately, Feruka.
No, you have to work for it. I think I’m going to start listing Proving Spirituality as one of my hobbies on Plenty of Fish. I don’t think you’ve really habitualized an idea until you can use it and prove it.
I think you ought to read my book My Cats Have Seen Me Naked to get the complete gist. In it, I provide a list of the work you need to complete and the tools to complete it. Spiritual healing results in one thing that is different than diet and exercise: permanant healing. And it takes longer because you’ve got to convince you. I can help you to do that.
