Some Changes I’ve Made
Welcome back!
Coming up with blog ideas is an on-going challenge and one I rather enjoy, unless I’m scratching a hole in my head trying to come up with something fresh.
You haven’t read the book yet. Of course not! It hasn’t been published yet. So you don’t know what’s in there, you haven’t seen the 36 articles I’ve written for the ezine, you don’t know what’s in the Tips Booklets - none of what’s coming have you any clue. So when I try to come up with some grand blog post that I think will appear reasonable and enlightening to you, because I don’t want to spoil the surprises already created that are soon to come, it’s challenging.
I decided that I’m going to begin to share with you some of the things I’ve gotten handled over the course of curing myself of the mental error called obesity. You might be surprised at what you read here. Heck, you might even give some of them a try yourself, and would I be stoked about that? You bet! I came up with 86 of these, and here are the first 10. At some point, they’ll all be available in one booklet.
1. When you’re no
longer hungry, quit eating.
know when you are hungry, observation is the best tool. Just watch yourself and see if it’s a “food”
hunger, or if some emotion is triggering you.
3. Walk, walk,
walk.
4. Fetch things
for yourself. Don’t make slaves of your
kids and a cripple out of yourself.
feeling sorry for yourself, move. Walk.
Breathe.
6. Attitude
governs everything. Read uplifting
books. Watch uplifting movies.
7. Develop
determination. Start over again after
each failure. Eventually, you’ll
succeed.
8. Ignore all
comments made about you by others. Only
you are living your life. What do they
know?
9. Look at your
childhood. That’s usually where the
cause of obesity begins. Be courageous
to keep looking and become more honest.
10. When you eat, do nothing else that distracts you
from conscious enjoyment of the food.
Love,
Pat
