Respectfully worshiping the miasma that technology looks like to me, I’ve managed to put off creating a blog for nearly three years. But I’m twitching in this corner and the paint at my feet is too wet to walk on. There was only one thing left - Just Do It!

I welcome you to Chubsey Ubsey, the Wise Weight Woman’s Blog. Hi. I’m Pat Matson. During the day, I work as a Virtual Assistant via Paperwork Partners. I’m an Assist U trained VA and happy with my career. I’m at a place in my life where giving back seems important and I haven’t gone round the sun all these years frittering away my time. My expertise surrounds weight and those issues and I’m ready to begin to share what I’ve unfolded.

No matter what word I choose to describe the size of your body
- fat, obese, chubby, plump, overweight,
lumpy – one of those words would be offensive to someone. I don’t want to
turn you off with painful words.
I want to grab your current condition and show you how to love and
accept yourself despite it. I walk in
those same shoes, and I’ve learned to love myself despite the size of my body.

There is a long list of good things to come that I want to tell you about. I’m creating an on-line community for we women of weight. It will be a place to bare your owwies and let the rest of us put salve on them so you can heal. It will be a learning opportunity. I’m about to cut lose my wisdom to the weighted world: a trilogy books, an ezine, free bi-weekly tips, a forum, the community, workbooks, tips booklets, CDs……. tons ‘o stuff!

Nearly everyone out there who’s awake and can see and hear has surely heard about The Secret by now, yes? I’ve been studying this kind of topic for 29 years and my materials are going to be about using The Secret type ideas to foster self-acceptance when you are a large woman and don’t like it.
