Unexpected Kitty Trauma
Welcome back!

Percy, Inbox Warmer
My older male cat, Percy, has created a touch of trauma in our house today. Yesterday, he kept to himself in his bed much of the day. When I touched him, he cried. So today, I made an appointment at the vet to obtain a diagnosis.
Does that not sound sweet and simple? Well, the boy decided I should have to chase him up hill and dale after he jumped out of my arms after he bit me! And so, I’m slowly letting the adreneline ebb now that we’ve gotten back from the vet. He has an infected bite on his back and he’s on antibiotics.
Here’s a simple reminder: this is a mental existence- mental problems and mental remedies. I’m working to hold that thought too.
You’re going to have to forgive me for not writing more today. I’m a bit verclempt.
Love,
Pat

Pat,
I am so glad you didn’t wait to take him to the vet. Thank goodness it was something treatable, but I’m sorry he bit you. He must have really been miserable.
Hope you are, and he, are feeling better soon!

Thanks, Cindy. Yes, we’re both simmering down. Whew oh Grady!

Hi Pat - been meaning to get in touch for a looong time. Especially since a big truck rolled past me on the freeway last week with Matson written in big letters on the side. Saw your tweet about Percy. So glad the crisis is over. I can relate completely, although in a canine way :). Sending you a hug from the flatlands. xox

Hi Gillian. Thinking of you, too. Will you risk another trip up when it snows?
Hugs,
Pat
