It’s Going to Snow This Weekend.
Welcome back!
I thought maybe I should create a new Category for the Blog and name it OMG! I live at the 6500 foot level in the hills above San Bernardino, CA and we are expecting snow this weekend. SNOW in September in California!!! Isn’t that just a hoot? Today, I hauled wood so I can wrap up in my afghan, drink hot chocolate and read a good book in front of a fire. Yummy! I’ve been kind of like the “ants” in the Ants and the Grasshopper story though. I’ve been getting ready for this winter slowly but surely. My garden beds are full up so the worms have lots to munch on over the winter. The weeds are all chopped down. The little run-off stream bed is shoveled out and ready for this winter’s slush. And the deck furniture is all stacked, covered and stored.
My book is done and is out there being read by two more beta readers. It’s going to be published next month. This is a big Yahoo! in case it didn’t come across that way.
The website is still in process. We have to update some of the driving software, tweak it a bit, and then it will be ready when the book comes out.
Be sure to Go Sign Up for Insights, the ezine, so you don’t miss out on anything once we go live! I think I’ll go upstairs and start that fire now. My book is calling to me.
Love,
Pat
