I had a sweet weekend. How about you?

Welcome back!

Hello, all who read. I’ve got a request for you. Would you please log in and let me know you are reading this blog? I’ve only had three people tell me that so far and I’d love to see who my readers are. Thanks.

I had a marvelous weekend back in my old stomping ground of Palos Verdes and the South Bay. My lucky friends and I had a reunion since two of the crowd have moved away. We haven’t been together for over a year and it was great fun. They let me choose the restaurant and I never flinched: we had Persian food. I adore Persian food - food of the gods! I don’t know what draws me to this cuisine, but boy, that magnet is a powerful one. I had my fav Quorme Sabzi - a stew made with spinach and parsley and lamb shanks over basmati rice. Heaven! Honey drenched baamieh for a sweet end to the meal. I’m still in heaven.

I’m beginning to write the copy for the website this week. If you post here, you can tell me some of the things you’d like to see - things that The World of Within can provide for you. I’m excited about this task.

I watched several hours of television last night on the Learning Channel called “Inside Brookhaven Obesity Clinic.” This is a facility for the super obese - over 4 and 500 pounds. Oh my, those poor souls are burdened. So as I watched, I had the idea of listening to them and then writing down tips that allow me to see how much I’ve healed from those kinds of ideas. Folks, I wrote down over 70 tips, so I now have enough materials for a second tips booklet and you didn’t even know I had already written a first one, did you? I’m going to sell them for $5.00 a pop online and they will be excerpts of wisdom from my second book My Cats Have Seen Me Naked (that’s the first tips booklet) and then the one I wrote last night.

It dawned on my that I haven’t told you much about the trilogy, or if I already have (this happens a lot - get used to it!) it’s worth repeating:

The Wise Weight Woman Trilogy explained:

Love Yourself Large - an overview of the process. A short but pithy look at weight from the mental perspective. There is an accompanying workbook to help you begin your own process. These books have been edited and are on their way to a printer just as soon as I decide which one gets the job.

My Cats Have Seen Me Naked - my story and the wisdom I gained from living my life. This book also has an accompanying workbook. This book is written, three chapters are edited and ten remain. This workbook is in process.

You Can’t Lose - an in-depth, scientific look at obesity and it’s cure for those with the guts to be honest and make the necessary corrections. This book is written but not edited. The workbook is in process.

As you can see, Patty’s been a busy girl!

Love you,
Pat

Hey, I read this about every 2 weeks! I love to keep track of you and your ever-foraging mind.

I had eyelid surgery because I could hardly hold the eyeballs open to see by 4 pm each day. and am swollen and purple at the moment. Can’t see too well so I can’t read small print yet. But I did squint out your blog. I must read the tome about your cat seeing you naked. That one really speaks to me!

What should I write for the above URL?

    Hugs!
    Helene
